XCP is a working programme with measured results on real hardware. It is not a released product, and the distance between those two things is a packaging and distribution step that has not been taken.

Console

A retail Xbox Series console in Developer Mode — a supported Microsoft feature, with its own terms and its own registration

A Windows machine running XCP Studio — Windows only, for now

Optional. A person can drive the same lifecycle by hand; an agent uses the same contracts, not a privileged path

Network

PC to console. A model provider, if used, may be remote

Cost

XCP currently defines no account or submission requirement of its own. Xbox Developer Mode and optional AI providers have separate terms and possible costs

XCP Studio runs on Windows only — for now. It is a native desktop application.
