XCP

Privacy

Privacy and analytics disclosure

What we measure, how we measure, and how you can change that choice.

XCP uses Google Analytics for Firebase only to monitor anonymous site usage, page interest and interest in future release-related actions. The integration is consent-first and privacy-constrained.

Disclosure

What is collected with this integration

  • Provider: Google Analytics for Firebase.
  • Purpose: aggregate site usage and future download measurement.
  • Loading model: consent-first; no endpoint is contacted until you click Accept.
  • Stored consent key: xcp_analytics_consent_v1 (granted/denied/empty).
  • No advertising consent and no advertising products are used.
  • No project content, source code, Xbox addresses, or session credentials are intentionally submitted.
  • Collection can be disabled immediately through Analytics settings.

Events

Custom site events are bounded and minimal

The site sends a short, fixed set of high-value events only after explicit consent. Parameters are constrained to stable values such as page identifier, button identifier, platform and release status.

  • release_interest: intentional release/download-interest interactions.
  • download_unavailable: shown when public packages are not yet available.
  • xcp_download: sent only for real downloadable package links when present.
  • outbound_resource: for relevant external destinations.

No names, emails, IPs, free-form text, or runtime/project paths are added by this site code.
